Since its formation in 1979, the Gray family company has achieved remarkable business growth that has propelled the company into its current position as a national leader in wholesale joinery. Established by Paul and Jennifer Gray, the company grew to include family members Allen and Phillip Gray in 2007. Port Stephens Joinery started its life in Salamander Bay, specialising in custom designed kitchens and vanity units for the surrounding Port Stephens building and domestic market.
Meet The Family
The business grew and in 1996 the company relocated to Taylors Beach and continued to service the Port Stephens and surrounding North Coastal suburbs. By 2000 the business had established into the manufacturing of vanity and shaving cabinets nationally, and from there the Marquis Bathroom Products brand was born. In March 2008, the Gray family extended their portfolio with the purchase of Edstein Creative Stone, located in Taree. Edstein services the regional coast of NSW with stone work surfaces and monumental products into the residential and commercial market. The acquisition of Edstein to the PSJ Group, (Port Stephens Joinery) has enabled Marquis to become the market leader within the bathroom and wholesale joinery segment.
The company is still family owned and operated by the first founders, Paul and Jennifer with the second generation family members Allen and Phillip taking on the daily responsibilities. With over 38 years of manufacturing experiences and the company’s strong family beliefs and sustainability, we look forward to maintaining the company’s expansion over the years to come.
